Late King of the Roan Empire
The King was much beloved by the peasants, however his love of drink and gambling has caused him to raise a sizable debt to both his army and his own household. The King refused to raise the taxes as his close advisers cautioned, to assist in the payments he staged an incident with the Leader of the Zuul Ji region giving his armies a reason to invade. His generals Ruco Zuccah, Timoah Karaket, and Haraj Ennoc were all too happy to lead his armies into the region looking for glory and spoils. During the war Ruco Zuccah was especially efficient and brutal, it was during this time that Ruco Zuccah began to feel the urge to build his own power base. Lord Erik Garuk was pleased that his campaign had gone so well and was too busy paying off old debts and running up new one to notice the beginning unrest with his own army. Once the King and his family the had been betrayed and slain very few of the Kings former supporters were willing to oppose the usurpation of the Roan Empire.
